Just over two weeks ago I released the chicken sleep mask crochet pattern with the promise of more to come very soon. Today, I’m excited to share with you the bear sleep mask crochet pattern! This is the 8th animal eye mask crochet pattern I’ve designed and there’ll be plenty more to come! If you haven’t already seen them, check out my previous animal sleep mask patterns here:

All of my sleep mask crochet patterns are made in the same way – with Stylecraft Special DK yarn (you’ll need 3 colours – brown, black and white) and a 4mm crochet hook. I would recommend adding some fabric to the back of your mask to help block out the light. The ties are made by braiding three strands of yarn together but, you could crochet some ribbing or use elastic if you prefer.
Brown, black and white DK yarn – I’ve used Stylecraft Special DK

Sew the eyes onto each end of the face then use a yarn needle and white yarn to stitch on the eyelids. Attach the nose between the eyes and the ears above them. Then, weave in the ends. For the ties, I have braided together 3 strands of yarn and secured a braid to each side of the eye mask. Alternatively, you could use some elastic or crochet some ribbing. You may also want to back the mask with some fabric to aid in blocking out the light.
