Free Amigurumi fox crochet pattern

If you would like an ad-free, printable version of this amigurumi fox crochet pattern with helpful assembly photo guides you can buy the PDF HERE.

This little amigurumi fox is actually one of the first crochet patterns I ever designed. I’ve recently been revisiting some of my earlier patterns to update them and make improvements, which is exactly what I’ve done with this fox. There aren’t any drastic changes, the ears have changed slightly and there’s a bit more black on the legs now. I decided that now was also the perfect time to make this crochet fox pattern free as it has been a paid pattern in my Ravelry store for some time.

To make this crochet fox you’re going to need 3 colours of DK weight yarn – orange, black and white. I’ve used Hayfield Bonus DK and James C Brett Top Value DK but what brand you use is up to you. For the eyes, I’ve used The Craft Factory Toy Eyes Solid Black – 9mm which work perfectly for this amigurumi fox but if you prefer you can embroider some eyes with black yarn.

Assembly

For a photo tutorial of the assembly for your crochet fox, check out the full pattern HERE.

Use a yarn needle to sew all the parts together. I would recommend starting by adding the nose, eyes and ears to the head. Then sew the legs, head and tail onto the body.
