As I mentioned in last week’s pumpkin crochet pattern post, this week’s Halloween crochet pattern is Halloweens themed bunting. This quick and easy pattern is perfect for DIY Halloween decorations. As you can see from the photo it includes ghosts, spiders and pumpkins (the pumpkins are the same ones from my pumpkin coasters crochet pattern). You could also add other Halloween themed crochet items to your bunting – I considered doing some bats too! All of the pieces are fairly straight forward to crochet and you can make as you like so your bunting can be your preferred length.

To make your Halloween bunting you’re going to need 4 colours of DK weight yarn – orange, black, white and brown. I’ve used Stylecraft special DK but you can use any brand of your choice. To make the pieces you’ll need a 4mm hook, a larger hook is also used to make the string, any size between 6mm-8mm should work fine.
