I’ve been wanting to make some rainbow ear savers ever since I made my first ever ear saver pattern the ‘Flower Ear Savers‘. However, I didn’t have the right colours to make them until yesterday when a big order of yarn from Lovecrafts arrived! I was actually buying yarn for another blanket I’ve just started on but the colours just happened to be perfect for a rainbow.
Just like all of my previous ear saver patterns (find them HERE) this pattern is designed to use DK weight yarn and a 4mm hook. You could of course use a different weight and hook but this will change the finished size so bare that in mind. Unlike my other ear saver patterns this one is perfect for people who have ponytails! Simply slip your ponytail through the gap between the rainbow and the clouds then attach your mask to the buttons!
