Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away so, I’ve compiled a list of crochet patterns perfect for decorating your home for Thanksgiving. I’ve included a range of thanksgiving crochet patterns from amazing amigurumi to chic farmhouse style table runners so there will be something in this list for everyone. The patterns also range in crocheting ability level and price, with many of the Thanksgiving crochet patterns being free.
Living in the UK, Thanksgiving is not something I’ve ever celebrated so I’ve never looked at Thanksgiving crochet patterns until now. A few weeks ago I was scrolling through Ravelry and stumbled upon ‘4 Seasons Thanksgiving’ a set of three amigurumi foods – a gourd, a turkey leg and corn. I was impressed with the pattern and immediately started looking for other Thanksgiving crochet patterns. Soon I found ‘The Gobble Pillow’ which is another of my favourites on this list.
I hope this list helps you find the perfect crochet pattern for this Thanksgiving, let me know in the comments which are your favourite!
4 Seasons Thanksgiving
This is the photo I saw which inspired me to make this list. I’m a big fan of amigurumi (See all my patterns here) and these are so well designed with great attention to detail. There are three different food amigurumi patterns, which all have names and a backstory – Gourd Gordon, Roasted Turkey Leg Trudy, Corncob Corby.

Brighten up your home or front porch with this Thanksgiving Wreath crochet pattern. It’s made by wrapping long spirals around an 18″ wire wreath frame then, constructing the turkey and attaching it to the bottom.
Thanksgiving Leaves Doily
This simple crochet doily will bring an autumnal feel into your home with these autumn leaves around its edge. The turkey in the centre is made separately and added afterwards, making it the perfect centrepiece for a thanksgiving diner.
Crocheted animal hats are always a lot of fun to make and this turkey hat is perfect for this time of year! It’s simple to make, free and the crochet pattern includes sizes 0-3 months all the way up to adult.
Thankful Table Crochet Runner
This table runner is one of my favourites on the list, its a really simple pattern (only using single crochets) but still looks amazing. The designer explains they were going for a chic/farmhouse feel with this design and I think they’ve pulled it off perfectly.

Add some colour to your thanksgiving dinner table with these bright turkey coasters! The designer suggests that they don’t have to be used as coasters though, hang them up or use them as ornaments instead.
Tutt Turkey Amigurumi
by Joanne Loh
Of course, I couldn’t write a list of Thanksgiving crochet patterns without including an amigurumi turkey! There’s plenty of crochet turkey patterns out there but this one was my favourite – it has lots of attention to detail and looks great paired up with the pumpkins!
The Gobble Pillow
by Emily Anne
Bring thanksgiving into your living room with this gobble cushion. The oranges and yellows of the leaves and branches in the background really make the writing stand out. It should be fairly easy to make too with simple stitches and colour changes.
Turkey Napkin Ring & Flatware Holder
Price: $3.00 (a free version is also available)
Another crochet pattern for the thanksgiving day dinner table. Small and simple, this turkey cutlery holder shouldn’t take long to make so no matter how many guests you have, you can make one for everyone.
Turkey coasters, turkey cutlery holders and now turkey placemats to complete the set. The placemat is crocheted in the round with the feet, beak and eyes added at the end.
