Here’s a really quick pattern for these fun little crochet turtle coasters! I made these whilst trying to use up all of the yarn I had leftover from the Big Mountains Blanket and the Elephant Sunset Blanket. These coasters are the perfect way to use up all those small balls of yarn you have lying around! They look great in lots of different colours combos, I’ve made some blue/green ones as well as some red/yellow ones.

The pattern is written using chunky yarn (I used Stylecraft Special Chunky) although you could probably adapt it quite easily for other weights if you preferred. The head and feet will require some stuffing but I would recommend using some yarn of the same colour to stuff them so you won’t see any white stuffing poking through your stitches if your tension isn’t tight enough. I’ve used the same plastic eyes I used for all my amigurumi which are The Craft Factory Toy Eyes Solid Black – 9mm but you can use some black yarn if you prefer.
